Do you need someone to speak to your small group, your church, or even at your conference? We’d love to share the story of the fall of our home and, by the grace of God, the lessons we’ve learned from scripture that helped it to rise again. It’s been an incredible journey into his grace and mercy for us. We’ve seen God work in some miraculous ways to bring us together for his own glory. Join with others who have allowed us to share our testimony face to face combined with the truths revealed in scripture on topics such as:
Enemies at Home
What happens when communication breaks down? Couples become enemies at home.
A deep scriptural look into the communication between a husband and a wife. This study, based in much of the Proverbs and Jesus’ teachings, takes you through a powerful look at the words, phrases, and discussions that turn husbands and wives against one another. You’ll hear stories from couples across the country who had turned into enemies at home and who have now learned to use godly speech and even godly silence to battle the schemes of the devil and begun building marriages centered on Christ. You’ll leave these sessions with the excitement to not only change your communication at home, but the knowledge and resources to make it happen.
As We’ve Been Loved
Overcoming the Pain of an Affair Through Forgiveness
The thoughts of betrayal. The lies. The fears. The broken trust. The harsh words spoken. How can it be overcome? The pain of an affair is tremendous, but it can be overcome, the wounds can be healed, and the marriage can be restored to its proper place. From a personal and a scriptural perspective, we’ll take you through our own story of brokenness and healing and the powerful truths in scripture that allow healing because of the love, mercy, and forgiveness we’ve all received through Jesus Christ. It’s a deeply personal, yet powerful, look into affairs, adultery, and infidelity and God’s ability to heal the marriages affected by them through the love of His Son, Jesus Christ.
**This study can be adjusted to meet the needs of a group where adultery isn’t the focus in the teaching, but where forgiveness is still needed.
The Fall & Rise of the Home
Overcoming Humanism to Find Gods Original Purpose for Marriage
In a world where lines are blurred and many of homes’ roles are reversed, Satan is wreaking havoc. He’s destroying home after home by taking men out of their place as the head of their homes through feminism, laziness, and complete ignorance. As a result, he’s pushing women out of their rightful place and destroying the backbone of the home. Both the men and the women are dropping off at an alarming rate, and the homes are falling right along with them. We’ve lost sight of God’s purpose for the home and the evidence is everywhere you look. We’ve lost sight of His way and the home’s original design. This study takes you through some of the history of this breakdown and shares some startling stories of where the home is today. But, it gives hope and direction for both the husband and the wife through scripture to renew a sense of godliness as we discuss godly roles, responsibilities, and purpose from the whole of scripture through obedience. This look into the home has proven to not only encourage and instruct but deeply challenge every home at its core.
The Profound Mystery of Imitating Christ’s Love for the Church in the Marriage
The beautiful visions of grace, mercy, and love offered through Jesus in the words of the New Testament have become tainted. The words have become blurry and our understanding foggy. Why? Our own cultural biases have been imposed on the home and, as a result, the church and the home have fallen. The very pillars of grace, mercy, and love set aside in scripture have lost their weight as we’ve strayed from their original purpose. This set of teachings takes a deep look into why we do what we do as couples and the effect it all has on the world around us. Why are wives asked to respect their husbands and submit themselves to them? Why are husbands asked to love on such an intimate level? Taken from Paul in his letter to the Ephesians, the “profound mystery” of living our marriages as Christ lived and died for the church takes couples’ understanding of marriage to an immense depth. It’s a depth that knows no boundaries and allows marriage, as God instituted it, to light the world on fire with the Gospel.
**These teachings can be combined or taught as a series and contracted or expanded to meet any time requirements, as there is a lot of information.
To bring us in as a couple or individually, feel free to contact us about dates and times with the specifics about your needs. We’ll do our best to meet and exceed them.
