Well, a lot has been happening since we last updated everyone, so I thought we’d share what’s been happening on our end:
First, one of my best friends, Charlie Trotter, just finished designing the logo for Rise of the Home. He, and his wife Andrea, have been a blessing to our ministry and marriage over and over again, and we’re really excited to have him working on this project for us, especially for free. We’ve been working on this for the last couple of weeks and finalized it last week.
Charlie has a special desire to help with our work and ministry as he watched us rise above the affair and hard times. He spent many hours listening to me vent and cry as Lisa and I sorted through all of it. As a result, we’re very thankful to have someone so intimate to the fall and rise of our home helping us as we help so many others with their rise. He’s doing this through working on the design, layout and feel of our site.
We pray that all of the new design will make it easier for the struggling couples who find us to locate information that’s relevant to their particular struggles and desires. He is beginning those next stages of designing our website, and we’d appreciate your prayers as he begins this process. It may not seem like a big deal, but the simple layout of a website can do a lot to help someone navigate and, therefore, find necessary information.

Second, we’ve had an incredible influx of new couples contacting us in recent weeks. It’s great to see so many people finding us and our story through search engines and through so many personal referrals. We see that people are really digging into the site and their comments, emails, and phone calls speak volumes for what God is doing through all of this. We thank all of you for trusting us with such deep parts of your lives. We pray God uses it as he intends to do so and that we don’t get in the way of his work, but rather are used as “instruments of his righteousness” in your brokenness.
Third, we’ve been working on several things for all of our readers and so many other marriages. We are really getting close to being finished with them. Please pray for our clarity of mind and the leading of the Holy Spirit as we work to finish them now. We believe they’re going to have a lasting effect on many homes and are begging God to lead us as we put them together.
