God saved our fallen home from the sin of adultery and showed us how to love again. Through his mercy and grace, we’re helping others to overcome and build their marriages through the perfection of Jesus’ love.

That story of Stu Weber reminds me of a time when I was bow hunting for deer. I was quietly and slowly walking along, when I noticed about 20 yards in front of me and just to my right, was about a 300+ lb. Mama bear with 2 little cubs playing around a tree with each other.
She hadn't spotted or scented me, but I'm very sure that I was close enough if she had, that she would have at least charged me or worse!
Thank the Lord that it had just rained, so the ground was very quiet and allowed me to slowly back away. That scared me!
You may say I'm crazy, but right now I would rather fight that bear than fight the pain that I have from my wife betraying me. It is a pain like none other. Thankfully, the power and comfort of Christ Jesus is more powerful than 10,000 bears or betrayals! And as you said Derek, we cannot even begin to fight lions or bears or the pain of an affair, without putting all of our trust in our Savior! Praise God!

That's it, man. We're powerless. Once we realize the deprived state we're in, he can begin to work. It's not until we're meek that we can inherit the earth. But the moment we can and do it amazing.

dude, i totally feel what your saying here. i hate being in a fight where i am both outclassed and "outstrengthed". lust is a monster that can take shape in most anything. sex just happens to be its weapon of choice so much of the time. but if we can just take the time to "step aside" and let the power of Christ take it on, we can live such peaceful lives. great thoughts brother!!
